Martin plays a crucial role in keeping your orders straight as they get loaded on carts and into the trucks. He also helps wherever he is called to help from construction, to computers, to production.

The 2027 staff musings prompt is to write about a plant we believe is a underrated or unsung hero.

Martin: Many varieties of plants cross my path as I’m loading carts and trucks to be shipped, but there’s a handful of plants that specifically catch my eye when I run into them. Osteospermums in general are one of those, and the Harvest Moon variety just feels special to me. The unique looking double center combined with the neutral yet bright color palette turns this flower into a lovely sight to see whenever I come across it. The other varieties of Osteos also stand out to me, from the beautiful gradient of colors in Copper Amethyst to the distinctive petals of Spider Purple and Palleta Passion. Osteospermums are just so striking and I love to take a moment to admire them whenever I get the chance.
