Specialty Annual breeding gets better every year with bigger blooms, more brilliant colors and wilder patterns on better performing plants. We are so excited to add 37 new plants to this category for our 2027 catalog. The Bracteantha Sunbrero Orange performed so well in our 2026 trial that we had to make it available to all of our customers.  We know how popular the Itsy Petunia series is, so we couldn’t resist adding the new blue color to our catalog.  Crazytunia is one of our favorite series, so the addition of the new picotee High Five was a no brainer. Two multicolor calibrachoas have been added, Ombre Pink and Callie Orange Sunrise, and we cannot wait to see how they perform. Orange Sunrise was a favorite at 2026 trial gardens and the photos we saw made us say “wow”. The biggest trend in our new additions for 2027 is bicolor blooms. We’ve added some stunning options in Bidens, Geranium, Dahlia, Osteospermum, Petunia, and Jamesbrittenia.
